ESCANABA — The 2025 season at Escanaba Motor Speedway has seen the competition heat up to a new level with four of the seven classes having the top three in points separated by less than 10 points and all seven classes having first and second separated by six points or less.

Paul Hosking leads in the super modified class at 177 points. Only one point up on the father-son duo of Scott Degnan and Drake Degnan, who each have 176 points. Rick Ness is fourth at 169 and Gunnar Hansen rounds out the top five with 168 points only nine points back.

In the sport modified class, Jesse Denome holds the points lead at 184 points only one point ahead of last year’s track champion Matt Valliquette, who is looking to complete the three-peat. Anthony Harper is with 176 points and Bradley Viau and Bradley Seppanen are tied for fourth with 175 points.

In the youth micro sprints Tanner Rae has won three consecutive features and finds himself at the top of the standings but only three points up on Amelia Hart in second and four points up on Wyatt Ammel in third. Rookie Keagan Jensen is fourth at 168 points and fellow rookie Colton Yelle is fifth at 27 points back.

In the sportsman sprint class, Chase Richer holds down first place after back-to-back wins sitting at 194 points. Last year’s champion Braxton Lundquist is two points back looking for his third track championship in as many years. Tanner Hansen holds down third place with 181 points back. Kristy Karl is fourth (180) and Macy Degnan is fifth (174).

In the 600cc sprints, Ethan Manninen holds the lead at 186 points six points up on Logan Getzloff. Bentley Richer is third at 174 points, Brayden Lundquist is fourth at 173 points and Jayger Quinn is fifth with 166 points.
